About this rate

The Qatari Riyal is the currency of Qatar. Qatar Central Bank has held it at a fixed rate to the US dollar since 2001 (1 dollar = 3.64 QAR), so against the taka it moves exactly with the dollar. This page divides Bangladesh Bank's weighted average dollar rate by 3.64; the bid and ask are worked out the same way. Bank, exchange-house and remittance rates can differ a little.
