About this rate

The Saudi Riyal is the currency of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has held it at a fixed rate to the US dollar since 1986 (1 dollar = 3.75 SAR), so against the taka it moves exactly with the dollar. This page divides Bangladesh Bank's weighted average dollar rate by 3.75; the bid and ask are worked out the same way. Bank, exchange-house and remittance rates can differ a little.
