The UAE Dirham is the currency of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi). The Central Bank of the UAE has held it at a fixed rate to the US dollar since 1997 (1 dollar = 3.6725 AED), so against the taka it moves exactly with the dollar. This page divides Bangladesh Bank's weighted average dollar rate by 3.6725; the bid and ask are worked out the same way. Bank, exchange-house and remittance rates can differ a little.
At Bangladesh Bank's average dollar rate for 26 Oct 2026 (Tk 123.75) and the UAE Dirham's fixed rate of 3.6725 to the dollar, 1 UAE Dirham = Tk 33.70.
At the same rate, 1,000 AED = Tk 33,696.39 and 100 AED = Tk 3,369.64. The table above has other amounts.
The Central Bank of the UAE has fixed the UAE Dirham to the US dollar since 1997: 1 dollar = 3.6725 AED. So the taka rate of the UAE Dirham is Bangladesh Bank's dollar rate divided by 3.6725. Bangladesh Bank doesn't publish a UAE Dirham rate itself.
Not exactly. This is the interbank rate; banks, exchange houses and remittance services set their own rates and fees, usually close to it. Cash on the open market can cost more or less.
Bangladesh Bank publishes rates on working days, and this page changes as soon as a new one appears. The site checks twice a day, at 7 am and 1 pm Dhaka time. On holidays the last working day’s rate stays up.
